Washington DC Temple Lights 2011

We finally made it the see the lights at the Washington DC Temple - after Christmas - but they were still awesome.  Here are the pictures in rapid fire!

The boy was wearing his winter boots and hie new socks and the socks kept falling down into the boots, so we would have to stop every 10 min so he could fix his socks.

Crazy boys!

Arggggg... Pirate Owen.

Inside the Visitor's Center they had lots of differently themed Christmas trees and a Nativities of the World Exhibit.

Waiting impatiently in line to see the Nativities.

This was the tree that was decorated by our Stake - Silver Spring, MD.  When we first saw it we thought - how lame and not up to par with the other trees in the room.  But then we realized that they had embedded a nativity in the tree and the lameness went down.

Family picture - best one we got.

The Temple lights were gorgeous as usual, and we enjoyed all the beautiful trees and nativities from all over the world.  Each year when we visit, it helps us remember the real reason we celebrate Christmas.
