It was another crazy week for us. Beki was hosting a "big name" scientist for a seminar, so stress was high. Chris was sick Monday and Tuesday so he is behind in everything and just trying to catch up. There was soccer practice on Thursday, Soccer game on Saturday along with 2 birthday parties for Owen plus normal cleaning and shopping to be done.
Here are some picts of the boy on Friday while we waited for Papa to pick us up from the boy's school.
The boy has also started to be interested in jump rope. He is getting better and practices when at school. This jump rope was too long, but he was sure trying.
The boy saved his birthday and chore money for while and he finally had enough to buy a light-saber. Of course he chose the one from the bad guy, it has 2 blades. He was pretty excited and it has been the cause of many times outs already.
Here would be where one would normally find the pictures of the boy's first soccer game of the season, but no pictures were taken. The other team never showed up, so our team (Chris and Beki are the coaches) played each other - so we were both out on the pitch the whole time - hence no pictures. We will post pictures when we actually play a real game.
On Saturday Owen also was invited to 2 birthday parties and both had pirate themes (weird). We have no picture of the first one because Chris was at home grading and Beki was busy doing the food shopping. These are from the second one. Owen was playing his friends Nintendo DS like mad = he will NEVER get one.
Then there was a bayblade to be put together and spun.
It was a crazy week, and next week is guaranteed to be the same.
