Owen had an art project where he had to decorate a shoe box with all four seasons on the outside and his favorite season on the inside. Here are picts of the sides and inside.
One morning before school he decided to meditate.....
Owen wanted to be a Sith Lord for Halloween - yeah, the bad guys from Star Wars. When it got here we had to try it on.
Beki's sister, Rachel, got sealed to her husband, Skye, on Oct 13 in the Las Vegas Temple. Beki and Owen flew out to be there for the very special occation. We spent one night at Circus Circus in Vegas and went to breakfast at IHOP the next morning. Then we headed to Kingman, where Rachel and Skye live, for the rest of the day. The next day we got up early and headed back to Vegas for the ceremony and a luncheon. Then Beki's parents checked into a hotel in Vegas so that they could make sure the Beki and Owen got on their flight back that left at 11:50 pm. We were gone for 72 hours, with 48 h spend in Vegas and Kingman and the rest in transit. It was a crazy trip, but worth it. We are so happy for Rachel and Skye.
Owen with his cousin, Piper.
Playing Go Fish with Grandma.
The happy couple now sealed for time and all eternity.
This is Jacob with his fiance, Susie, yup - FIANCE!!!!! He proposed the day before Rachel and Skye sealing and are getting married on Dec 8 in the Vernal Temple - so we will all be heading back again for that in 8 weeks. Jacob is hands down, Owen's favorite.
We were all born of goodly parents.
Siblings!
At the hotel they finally had a pool - it was fridgid - but Owen insisted on swimming.
Then we visited and played for a few hours before our flight.
Owen was out cold by the time we got the gate. I had to pack him onto the plane with our three bags.
We flew all night to arrive back in DC at 10 am. Owen earned a well deserved cinnamon roll while we waited for Papa to get there to pick us up.
It was a REALLY fast trip and we wish we could have taken Chris with us and stayed longer, but it was worth it to be there with Rachel and Skye on their special day. Now to recover.
