Another week in the life

This week was a bit rough because Beki was sick all week with allergies and a sinus infection.  She went to the allergist on Wednesday and they basically said that they can't do much more to control the symptoms.   So she is going to have to learn to manage her CHRONIC DISEASE (that was a depressing realization for her).  We went and got an air purifier by ORECK; a professional grade one that can clean a 600 sq. ft. room and you never have to buy a replacement filter so we will see how it works.  There might be a few other things that we will need to do, but time will tell.

Chris had a normalish week.  The students are done taking the MSA (test) and so things should have returned to normal, but a lot of his kids were on a field trips or their teachers won't let them go down to his class - a constant struggle for him (you know since he isn't a "real" teacher).  But this next week is spring break and he is planning GRAND things for the back yard that will culminate in an Easter Egg hunt with lots of friends.

Owen is becoming more adjusted to his new nanny and going on "Bertie the Bus" two days a week to go to her house.  He is also getting a lot better in Primary - he will now sit with his class for opening exercises and most of sharing time and he doesn't cry anymore when it is time to go with his class.  Sometimes is seems as if he will "never" do something, or adjust to new things and then in no time at he is all adjusted and growing up so fast.  He got a package from Grandpa White and he loved what was inside...

He also had a lot of fun in the bathtub this week and all on his own he decided to "clean" the bathtub.  Grandma Peterson would be so proud!

Over all it was an okay week.  Hopefully this next week will be a little less stressful and Beki will get better and her allergies won't be so bad.

Hope Beki starts feeling better. I don't really have allergies - but I've had a congested nose for about... um... 29 weeks. =D So I can some what relate to the hopeless feeling that you'll never be able to breathe right again.

I love that you are blogging now! Keep it up! I love reading all the updates!

Thanks for the pictures and updates!! Sure hope Beki can find something to help her feel better. I've only been "stuffed up" for three weeks and can't imagine having to deal with "chronic"!!
