All Star and Valentines Day.

Owen's class in school has an All Star each week.  This very special person get to do lots of special things that ends up meaning more work for Mom and Dad, but he was very excited when it was his turn.  He got to tell his class about his favorite things, bring in pictures of his family, take a special show and tell, be the line leader all week, and take Fuzzy bear home and write in his journal (with pictures).  So here are the picture of Fuzzy bear doing things with Owen.

Owen liked having all the attention and especially being the line leader, but he got sick towards the end of the week.  So he didn't get to do all of the special things.  On Friday, when he was supposed to do his show and tell and tell the class about his family, he had a pretty bad stomach ache, but wanted to go to school anyways.  When we got there, his stomach was hurting even worse and we explained this to his teacher.  She let him do his show and tell (he took Lego Star Wars for the Wii - surprise, surprise) and then he got to hang out at Mommy's work all day and watch Netflix.

This one was from Grandma Nettie and it had $5!!!!!!!!!

He especially like having the $5.  He is now closer to buying whatever toy he will want next.

He got some other ones from Tia and his cousin Piper.  These was were fun to open too.

At some point in February, Owen decided that we were a Darth family and gave us all Darth names.  He is Darth Awesome, Papa is Darth Papa, and Mommy is Darth Rose.  Tia sent this little sign for Valentine's Day.  It says, "Remember, as far as anyone knows, we're a nice normal family."

It was a good Valentine's Day for the family.  Mommy got Papa a LARGE bag of pistachios and some special expensive cheese.  Papa got Mommy a heart shaped box of chocolates from See's Candy.  Mommy and Papa got Owen some milk chocolate squares.  We were excited to show our friends and family that we love them.  Next year, expect Star Wards valentines (we already bought them).
