Since it is now May, I don't have the time to go back and a billion post on April. So you get most of it all in one, giant post. So hold on, here we go!!!
There was a lot of Wii playing, especially Mario Cart.
The boy is learning to do chores. He hates the sound of the vacuum, but it was his turn, so we found a solution. Doesn't he look thrilled!?!?
Owen was invited to a birthday party at a black light miniature golf place. They had some interesting decor.
Four!!!
This hole was really cool looking.
Mommy and Owen at the end with his "glowing" golf ball.
Chris had a birthday - he is now a "really" old 33! I got him a Reese's ice cream cake from a local place. It was a big hit.
Mommy got him an "experience" for his birthday - a trip to the National Geographic Museum to see the Titanic 100 years exhibit.
There was also the performances of the musical that Chris was the Musical Director for. His High School put on Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Chris is down in front, waving his arms.
There was some epic Mario Cart Wii with our close friends for family home evening one night. We talked about being a good sport and what that means, using President
Owen also is now the proud owner of a BuzzBeeToys Air Warriors shot gun. He saved enough money from his behavior charts to get one, and since the boy was getting one, Papa needed one to shot back.
Chris also taught him how to march to be a guard. He now sleeps with his gun each night and can be found "guarding" the house. He marches pretty good and says, "Hup, two, three, four. Hup, two, three, four." They started with shooting at targets, but soon found out that it is WAY more fun to shoot at each other. Thankfully Mommy has been spared from being the target.
On top of all of these things throw in t-ball practices, girl's camp meetings, Chris writing his text book, normal cleaning, shopping, working, etc and we had a whirlwind month.
